This shows lots of gameplay and the reviewer explains what the game does right as well as what it could have done better.

Overall I think he is trying to say that Gamespot and IGN were probably looking for a game similar to Dead Island or Left4Dead.

If this isn't like Dead Island, it's already a thousand times better.

Dead Island was total trash.

I rather liked Dead Island, but it had no real tension because you became invincible rather quickly once you got some decent weapons and levels.

Dead Island and Left 4 Dead were both stupid. The only thing that saved either of them was the co-op.

This game is the complete opposite of dayz and project zomboid. It is linear and all zombie encounters are forced. You cannot go around them. Plus there is no REAL survive like food. It is just a crappy, practically on rails cricket bat simulator.

Yes


Yes? An absolute no. Day Z is a fantastic mod using the graphically amazing Arma II engine, and has even gotten backing of the guys at Bohemia. Is is set in a sprawling huge map filled with castles, towns, shops, ports, watchtowers, etc where you have to scavenge for food, ammo and bandages.

It is a great multiplayer experience, filled with the tension of not knowing whether the next player is gonna help you or kill you on sight for your Franks'n'Beans as well as the day night cycle.

Basically, Day Z is light years ahead of ZombiU and is under constant development by the modding team. CaptainRandom is trying a bit too hard here, I am afraid.

Left 4 Dead is nothing BUT co-op, but it campaign or versus. Both of which were fun.
