And/or restarted the game when they were about to die...
I completed the game for my second normal mode run last night (played 10 hours straight through the whole night lol)
Now i'm going to try and attempt survivor mode, and i'm not going to cheat in any way possible

tipntopPosted 1/4/2013 10:32:31 AM | I beat Survival before the duplication thing was discovered (I still haven't read how it's done, I just know it exists). I didn't have to revisit the zones to farm loot either (only revisted for previously inaccessible C4/keycard/passcode caches)
When planning Survival I thought about the possibility of restarting when close to death, but never actually done it. In the heat of the moment, I always kept on fighting and never thought about pressing the Home button to save my run.

And you push on, and on..........and you die. And you just feel so ****ing MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

zfstarkPosted 1/5/2013 12:23:58 PM | Is survival any different from normal aside from the one life? I played through normal a 2nd time with one survivor and never bothered with 'survival' mode; but if its any different I'd be interested.

Respect Respect indeed... I quit when I'm about to die on normal mode, just to save my character, lol. Though I'm not doing it to be super cheap about keeping stats as much as I am to keep the same cool looking guy - the girl I had before was so ugly that I had to kill myself with a molotov in the safe house. --- Eh, it's like 2 or 3 people who post a lot, making it look like more people hate the game than is actually true. -LordRattergun |
