I was quite torn at the end, Prepper was right, you would have been pretty much dead without his help. I was hoping for an option to maybe take him with me, or help him in some way. The ending was a bit sad for me. Watching him just sit down and move onto the next survivor. Maybe that's what he wanted though? I just felt bad since I did sort of just ditch him after all he did.

Sure, he helped you, but you did all the hard work. He only guided you. In the end, you really did not owe him anything. You saw your chance and you took it.

You want to escape and survive, he believes that surviving is sitting in a panic room and wait.

He was pissed off that you are gone and he is stuck in the room. Until he finds someone else who will be his BFF, tells you what to do, where to go and what to look out for, meanwhile, he is safe and sits on his ass.

So no, I did not feel sorry for him. in the end, maybe he does survive, but so does the rat hiding deep in the sewer.

I'd rather be sitting on a chopper high up looking down.

Yeah, that's the biggest difference between the survivor character and the prepper. The character wants to escape London to survive. The prepper prefers to stay in London and use people to survive. Which is kind of ironic because he believed there wasn't a cure. So if that's the case, why stay in London?

Hmmm, i don't remember that. Was that something he was waiting for because John Dee predicted it?

I see Prepper as an alter ego of the videogamers. We lead the survivors to salvation for fun, as he does, just because he needs some fun too. His panic room is our bedrooms!

The way i see it:

Prepper uses the survivors in order to get more supplies while sitting behind a monitor doing nothing but tell you how to do the hard work for him.

He's probably sitting in a room right next to the "safehouse", and when you die, he takes all the stuff you found, just like in the end sequence where he goes to check out the supplies box in the safehouse and stashes those things in his own safehouse.

At the end he's just getting ****** off at you because you are finding your own path and not following his commands anymore

Think about it

He is right beside the safehouse, his door is right by the wire gate beside the workbench.

He does use the survivors to get supplies for him,the first ending showed that he has a wall that is lined with gas cans for the generator. Our trip to the gas station was pointless.

He also had a pack of vaccine strapped to his non-pegleg,it was even previously stated that we're all infected.
