I just don't have the patience for this kind of game I wish I did not saying it is a bad game I wish I did man I have tried everything I could do to like it.

I even bought the strategy guide for it from eb games now I am stuck with the game and the book cause the game was a gift and I now have 25 dollar book sitting here.

Its cause I don't have the skills and guess what I am not afraid to admit it lol this game to me is hard i made it to where you need to pick the lock and a bunch of zombies come out of nowhere and smoke me everytime lol I can't seem to get past there.

Anyway thinking about maybe starting over on chicken mode and going from there maybe but to each there own and good for everyone that can beat this game and do good on it.

Sorry about about my rant I usually never do that but this game is not for everyone I knew going in but i did not expect something like this either and at the time there was no demo in all fairness.

Anyway thats all lol.

Don't give up on it yet, especially since you know it's more you than it is the game. Try it on the easier setting or learn the item duplication glitch. You learn to get better at it and won't need either later on.

I used to be awful at Left4Dead, but only because I wasn't used to that type of game. But playing through on easier settings, learning techniques, honing my skills, I got better and can take on Expert no problem.

Try a chicken runthrough, it's 100 times easier. That's what I did when I couldn't get through the game on normal.

Sounds to me that this game just isn't for you.

Yes, it has its problems and isn't perfect, but it also does a lot of things right, such as survival-horror and atmosphere.

If you aren't getting into it, then just get rid of it.
Sell it on ebay with manual to get more money out of it.
You'll definitely get $25 bucks out of the combination (game + guide), so you get what you spent on it....and maybe even a little extra (at $30 or $35).

It's not the game's fault that you didn't like it.
Nor is it your fault for not liking it.
It is just one of those cases where there can be no appeasement.
It happens sometimes.

BTW
Have you tried throwing a flare so that the zombies go after it and not you ?
Or maybe try hitting the zombies through the bars of the door ? (if it has bars)
Or maybe placing a mine, opening the door, getting the zombies to chase you, then luring them close to the mine without getting blown up yourself ?
Or opening the door and tossing in a molov or grenade ?

Well, if you have problems already at this part of the game, you better give up as some, later, will be much harder for you.

I mean..basically, once you get the lockpick tool, you get a scripted event :one zomb rushing at you, then the horde...always.

What happens after? If you've been cautious, you looted the 3 boxes of ammo for the turret, grenades and so on.
Use the turret (it's not THAT hard, it's just bang bang bang). Between each wave, reload the turret. Out of ammo? About to be flanked because you missed some? Leave the damn turret and backtrack to the sewers.
Or if you're good, run around, use the bat or gun (or carbine if you are far enough), or lure them away with a flare, drop a grenade you just picked etc etc...options are many.
Your main threat will be the helm guys because they're a pain in the *** especially with buddies around ;)

Flares are probably the ultimate "weapon" because they will draw all zombies away, even if they were rushing at you. You should have one equipped in your fast slots ALL THE TIME (like first aid kit) for your first run.

Anyway, good luck to you if you try to give it another go ;)

It's nice that you're just saying you don't like it as opposed to "OMGWTFARTIFICULDIFICCULTEH!!1!" like others. You win an internet http://ts3.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.4665168554361482&pid=15.1

Monster Hunter Tri is one of the best Capcom games of this generation.
Of course, that's not saying much.
