ZombiU is not even in the top 10 message boards any more.

That doesn't bode well, as it indicates the game is languishing.

Been out a while - bit of a niche title - people either love it or hate it - personally I love it - very refreshing & also challenging - beat it for the second time today - might attempt a survivor run now - beat it first with 16 - second with 5 - think i'm ready - every time I play it I think how good a fit Metroid would be (scanner) - retro better be working on Prime 4

It's thanks to ZombiU that I'm enjoying Dead Island now.

But yeah, let people move on, this game is kick ass and when they realize that, it will be too late.

They have to make a sequel. This game brings back survival horror. After playing RE 6, which felt like a summer blockbuster movie hit moreso than survival, I bought a Wii U just for this. I was not disappointed.

I would love to see a sequel - would also love it if they added a mode like the arena - like resident evil revelations had with raid

This game actually is a sequel.
Ubisoft made the original Zombi for PC in 89.

More of a Remake, a new fresh start.

Since nobody knows about a Zombi game from Ubisoft back in 89? I sure as hell did not know until someone mentioned it here.

I want to see a sequel too...but if the game doesn't sell well enough, then there won't be.

Not even close to a remake actually. While still played in the first person, the original Zombi took place in a mall and you only got 4 survivors.
Also an interesting side note, the original Zombi was ubisofts first publication. Makes one wonder if ZombiU has some sort of sentimental significance to the company.

Yeah, they waited this long before finally doing something new with their "sentimental" baby.

Also, remake or not, this is not a sequel. That's for sure. I bet that they just wanted to make a new launch title and took the zombie theme which is already very popular and the name "Zombi" did they already own the rights for. Put a "U" at the end and you have a clever name to bond with the new system.
