Ok I have a few question about this area.

1) With the first area right after you pick up the pistol there are three rounds of zombies and three red gas tanks. What happens if you don't have any more gas tanks to blow up? Do you just die?

2) After the second area where you blow up zombies with the mines you have to lock-pick a door to get a machine gun i believe. This is where I usually die. I still have zombies following me the whole time. I just figured i was suppose to pick the lock quickly before they caught up with me. Is there an easier way to do this though?

No man, you are doing it wrong. As long as you keep on moving and not putting yourself in a corner, let them follow you in a tight group, lead them towards the gas tanks and then shoot at them.

Same thing with the Kamikaze zombies, just wait until his buddys are near him THEN take aim and BOOM!

Next area open up, you quickly gather up all the mines you can pick up and flares, put the mines on paths that will make them follow you in a group, use the flares if you have any gas tanks left or a Kamikaze zombie left to get multi kill.

When they all are dead, hopefully, you should have one mine left, place it infront of the gate, then push the button and let the riot zombies take the express ticket back to hell.

THEN, when it's all good and safe, do what ever you want!

Itchy Tasty!

If your low on pistol ammo check the following areas
1 on garbage container to right of start
2 in vheicual to left at start
1 in small gated tunnel behind you at start
2 in church entrance along with a medium medpack
2 in car after big gate opens
few flares and a land mine on walkway near bus
few flares and 2 land mines on top of bus
1 on walkway along with medium medpack to right of area after bus
1 on safe spot on the far side past bus
1 somewhere in the middle of the area past bus
1 or 2 near or on a car near connection to first area after bus


huge tip: save one mine for after pressing the button
set it right near the great wall by the path along bus
but far enough away that it doesn't blow up automatically due to the zombies behind it
press button and it should blow up all the zombies as soon as one walks foreword
afterwords no zombies left you can just pick the locks without trouble

For the very first area use the following technique:

-Cage lifts up. Go right to dumpster and grab ammo.
-Turn around go into the caged area you can open doors to.
-Grab ammo and flare inside.
-Leave area towards gun location, stop at the car/truck.
-Grab the ammo and flare (or is it two ammo?).
-Now, grab the gun (cages won't open until you take the gun) and ammo and retreat back to the very center area right at the middle gas tank
-Look towards the door at what would be the middle zombie.
Wait only a moment or two before then walking backwards, keep an aim on the gas tank.
-The brief wait while you stood at the tank should've brought the three closer together, then when you back up they start to walk towards you AND the gas tank.
-When they're all close enough to the tank shoot it. Bam one gas tank, 3 zombies.
-Walk forward a bit towards the door, there will be a tank-zombie and armor- zombie coming from here
-Simply shoot the tank-zombie almost immediately since they show up in close proximity to each other when they appear it will kill both
-Get a flare ready and stand in the very middle of the arena
-Wait until they start shuffling towards you, then throw your flare towards the door where the tank and armor zombie are (aim for the stairs)
-All 3 armor zombies and the tank-zombie will shuffle towards it
-Get a clean shot at the tank on the zombie's back and bam

With 3 bullets and ONE flare you take out the first area at the arena with little effort, little items, and most likely NO damage taken

Before moving onto the second area go into the building the zombies were coming out of and grab the two ammos and the big med pack. When you first enter the second area there's a car to your right with TWO ammo pickups. Grab em and move on.

Don't really have any surefire tips after this. But generally I grabbed the first mine then quickly ran close to the cage and placed the mine then went on top of the bus to get more ammo and mines. Keep in mind if you follow the above you still have two gas tanks in the first area. One is near the caged area so you can actually run in there and shut both doors. When the zombies congregate near one of the doors there's a gas tank right there you can pick off and take a few out. You can use the one near the dumpster to take out some of them coming of the ledge.

As mentioned BEFORE pushing the button place a mine near the giant shutter to your left. This should take out the threat behind it.

Thanks for the help everyone. This was one of those things where I beat it as soon as I posted about it. I found another mine that I had never grabbed before so that helped.
