from my PS3 topic....
-Parappa got a major nerf to his Boombox. The AP orbs now fly across the whole arena instead of staying grouped together around the boombox. This is most likely a response to the feedback that the move made Parappa fairly overpowered, as there was no safe way to approach and he could just camp and build meter.
-Kratos' Lv. 1 got a mild nerf. It looks slower and easier to dodge then before.
-Raedic's Lv. 2 got buffed. Before it looked like an easy to dodge firball, and now it's an immense beam.
-an overall tweak made to balance the game is that characters build meter at different rates then others. This was done to keep characters with crazy good Lv.1s(FP) from being Overpowered.
-My theory of lightest-heaviest characters so far: Parappa,Sly, Drake,Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Fat Princess, Raedic, Big Daddy.
-a funny thing I never noticed about Lv.3s until now is they stop the clock when used. This was probably done to prevent certain character's Lv. 3s from running out the clock(Parappa, Sly)
-I have counted the lengths of most character's supers. Drake's Lv.2 Pillar lasts around 3 seconds,Parappa's Lv.2 Step on the Gas lasts 5 seconds,Sly's Lv.2 Jetpack lasts 5 seconds, Big Daddy's Lv2 Berserker mode lasts 8 seconds,Fat Princess' Lv. 2 chicken run lasts 8 seconds, Sweet tooth's Lv. 3 Sweet Bot lasts 10 seconds, Sly's Lv.3 camera lasts 10 seconds, Raedic's Lv. 3 jetpack lasts 10 seconds, Big Daddy's lv.3 Rapture lasts 10 seconds, Kratos' Lv.3 God mode lasts 12 seconds, and Drake's Lv. 3 Drake's Fortune lasts 15.
Nathan Drake: my future main(?), he looks fairly fun to play. His Zipline looks like it is designed to approch or rapidly escape an opponent, and he even has other options for trickery in the air, by also droppng a piece of floor on their heads. His tools for long range are varied,with a Pistol, a machine gun, and barrels.
-Superwise, holy crap. Lv.1 has him toss a propane tank he shoots with good distance getting quick and easy kills. Lv.2 may cause arguments like the boombox did, because his Pillar is Really good-hits in air and on ground, stays out for a long time, and even if the blocks just lay on the ground, touching them still kills. Look out for that move. Lv.3(Drake's fortune) has the benefit of lasting around 15 seconds, but the enemies can still fight back even after changing.
Big Daddy: the 1st 3rd party character revealed, and the more surprising choice. As he is a Bouncer model, his forte is getting in your face and beating you to death. I would not be surprised if he ends up the heaviest in the game, as apparently just his jumping causes damaging shockwaves. Despite being the Bouncer, this one can in fact use a total of 5 Plasmids to poke from a distance. The only ones I've seen so far are Fire and Lightning,but ice and hornet Plasmids may not be farfetched.
Now for supers, his Lv.1 looks pretty meh. He lets out a Roar, then a Little Sister Jumps out and stabs you with her needle. The range looked pretty short, and the match that showed this move showed it was so laggy the target moved before the Little Sister lept out. Lv. 2 is a Berserker mode where he kills anyone he touches for a set time.. Lv.3(Rapture) is awesome however-it lasts 10 seconds, and floods the entire stage in water. everyone is submerged, while BD just swims and rushes everyone. People thought this might need a nerf,but as it is, it may not be as OP as it looks, as they said if you swim fast enough you can avoid BD.
As one minor note, BD's defeat screen is kinda F***ed up. He lays dead on the ground and a Little Sister cries over his body. Kinda makes you feel like a jerk if you win.
That's my summary of what I've seen really. My word is still moot compared to that who played it at E3, so maybe those who tried it could have their say?
