Metroid-themed armor as a promo.

I thought about something.. What if they included Metroid-themed gear as a Nintendo exclusive?

Power Suit- Have a save from any Metroid game on your Wii-U.
Varia- Obtain this upgrade in Super Metroid or Metroid Prime.
Gravity- See above.
Dark- Obtain this upgrade in Metroid Prime 2.
Light- Same as above.
Phazon- Defeat the Omega Pirate in Metroid Prime.
Fusion- Unlock it via Metroid Prime's (or trilogy's) bonus features or (hypothetically) link up your 3DS if you got the VC version of Fusion from the Ambassador program.
Dark Samus's suit- Defeat Dark Samus in Corruption.

Yes, I am aware that Metroid Prime Trilogy is out of print. Also consider the idea that GC titles could be available on Virtual Console at some point in the future.

Having a Varia Suit available as a Wii-exclusive item in-game might be a good idea, but having ten pieces of armor available for owning ten different games, half of which can't be purchased anymore, is an unbelievably bad idea.

As Much as I'd like to play as a Sheperd with Chozo armor, I'm not so sure I want EA touching ANYTHING relating to the Metroid franchise.

This in all it's manifestations and consequences. Definitely Bioware can't do anything nearly as bad as Other M.

Hmm, someone doesn't know their metroid history as well as they think.

Also, I said EA. I wouldn't mind if Bioware did something with Metroid, but EA tends to shoot themselves in the foot.

Nintendo has made some bad choices in the past, but they are smart enough to not let EA anywhere near their games.
