Would that be a good or bad thing? I mean, on one hand it'd mean a new F-Zero(!), but on the other hand it means possibly no new StarFox/Kirby games this gen.
(not a completely serious topic, btw. It'd be quite a strange thing for Nintendo to do.)

PedroMontanaPosted 6/7/2012 1:53:57 PM | The point of this game seems to be to introduce the expanded audience to Nintendo's classic franchises. It makes a lot of sense that Nintendo would use this game to encourage new gamers to buy the main games in those franchises.
So,yes, being represented in this game might be a hint at new games in for these franchises.
Mario, Zelda and Animal Crossing will happen anyway, and a new Luigi's Mansion game has been announced for the 3DS.
The only game that REALLY feels unlikely to get a new installment is that Ninja shuriken throwing game, but perhaps they plan a surprise revival.
But that a franchise is NOT represented here does not mean that it won't get any sequels this gen - no company can plan so far ahead.
Keep in mind Nintendo could release sequels or DLC for Nintendo Land.

Also if they include Earthbound it might bring more support to the franchiese that might give it a boost to another game.
