Why is F-zero attraction slow?

F-zero is about speed and what was shown was too slow to be related to the series.

It's slow probably because it's a amusement park ride, and if it went really fast in an open-cockpit craft and crashed, you would die instantly from being launched. And I don't care If it's slow for now, It's in freakin HD.
