I don't have the game, but i think there are 2, Monkey Ball Arena and another one based on Shinobi.

In Monkey Ball Arena, the player with the GamePad is in a giant Monkey Ball and tries to roll over the other characters.

I don't know what the Shinobi game is about.

Is the game really so glitched that these modes aren't playable? I guess i better wait until the game is perfectly patched before i pick it up.

The shinobi mode is sort of like infected from Timesplitters, where one player is Joe Musashi and when he touches another player, they become Joe as well and so on. Monkeyball is glitched, when you start the game, Aiai is spawned directly over at least one character causing them to instantly lose.

Ha. This game is lucky it's amazing or I'd be way madder about the patch situation.
