Elec Man EXEPosted 1/28/2013 11:15:27 AM | The difficulty jump between B-class and S-class Traffic Attack is insane. I played through most of the World Tour on B-Class and I never had a problem with TA, kind of wondered why everyone complained about it so much. Heck, I actually enjoyed it even, it was kind of fun weaving through traffic.
Even when I started doing other events S-Class, not too bad. Tough, but doable.
And then I tried S-Class Traffic Attack... ohmagawd. Those neon cars will haunt my dreams, and probably prevent me from ever getting 100%. Why does it need to be harder waves AND more waves, when pretty much every other event just increases the difficulty in one way? I've gotten to the point where I would have beaten it if the number of waves was the same (I'll get to wave 12 or so, when B-Class is 10 waves), but those extra 5 waves is just too much.
Hats off to anyone who puts up with the hours of practice needed to beat expert Traffic Attack. --- ~ Master of Electricity ~ Electro: 0518-6613-7620 - Pokemon White |
Edwin LimPosted 1/28/2013 12:00:22 PM | The key to beating S class Traffic Attack is to pick a good character. I used Amy Standard mod for all my TA events. For the Shibuya Downtown TA, I used Metal Sonic with Boost mod. You do need to memorize the traffic pattern but it shouldn't take you too long to do it. The main problem is that you absolutely need to run the levels without a single mistake. This is especially true for the Sunshine Tour TA. The hardest TA IMO. I did a flawless run and even then, I got only half a second left on the clock when I passed the final checkpoint. --- Driving a PC racer with the keyboard is about as effective as typing an e-mail with your car's steering wheel. ~ Brian Ekberg |
