The Amazing Spider-Man

I am realizing that this game does a very poor job of explaining the in-game mechanics and combos. The beginning tutorial is also very basic. As a courtesy to other iOS gamers, I thought it would he nice to start a topic that serves as a community created guide. After collecting enough content, perhaps we can formalize it into a proper FAQ and submit it. In the mean time, I can ammend this post as more contributions are added.

- CONTROLS:

Jump Icon: Press to jump. Hold to fire web and swing. Hold whole swinging (without moving the v-pad) to hang upside down.

Web Icon: Press to fire web ball. Hold to wrap enemy in a web.

Punch Icon: Press to punch. Press repeatedly to perform basic combo. Press and hold to perform special attacks.

Spider Sense Icon: When spider sense marker appears above enemy, press the icon to evade the attack. Press punch afterward to perform a counter.

Web Zip Icon: Press to immediately zip to a location where there is a blue targeting reticle.

Wall Crawl: Press the v-pad in the direction of the wall and Spider-Man will grab onto the surface.

Sit on Wall: While wall crawling, press and hold the jump icon to make Spider-Man turn around and sit on the wall.

Sprint: Hold the v-pad in the same direction for three seconds and Spider-Man will automatically sprint.

Hurdle Obstacles: While sprinting, Spider-Man will roll over objects such as cars, while you hold the v-pad in the direction of the obstacle.
