SEED Destiny is getting an HD Remaster

Which means they're going to most likely reverse many of the SEED Destiny cuts for future G Gen games to capitalize on the HD Remaster.

I just hope that in the next game, they make Shinn as Destiny protagonist instead of being both protagonist and antagonist.
Just a passing-through Kamen Rider, Remember that!!

He always was the protagonist, its just that the focus went to Kiracus too much.

Yeah I know, but the fact that we always fight Shinn at end game, including the boss rush at EX Final, seem to make him as Destiny antagonist.

Well if they take out all flashbacks scenes the new SEED Destiny version would have only 30 episodes.

To me, Shinn was always one of the main cast but not the main protagonist. Hell, even in the 4"movie" recaps, the narrator is Athrun. Even in the manga the protagonist is Athrun.

But it's still confusing since Shinn's got a lot of screen time as well, plus the games tend to consider him as the center character as well.

They should've either make it like Zeta and make him the god damn protagonist (and a good one but that's a little too much to ask apparently) or a side main-character but something a little clearer than what they did in the anime.

Heck even if we consider Athrun as main protagonist, why is the ending showing Kira vs Durandal? Same thing, they make the special opening when we see the 3main protagonists and Kira is in the middle. It's like they are trying to confuse everyone as to "who the heck is the main protagonist?"

They should've left Kira dead after Shinn's battle, would've been more epic...

Yeah, they'll totally reverse whatever cuts they did to save space just like they added tons of new Seed stuff in this one. Oh wait, they didn't. Much like they didn't cram the game full of Age stuff despite Age nearing the climax of the series when the game was released. Newsflash : This series isn't really a mass appeal series despite the Gundam name.

Actually SEED and SEED Destiny are still big names and has a very large fanbase. The reason SEED didn't get its cuts reversed in this is due space and the fact that the SEED HD Remaster wasn't finished by than and they wanted to catch the type off 00 Movie before it complete vanished.

Gundam X wasn't very hot in Japan and ith as been far too long. It most likely will never get a remaster.

True, but SEED and Destiny's fame in Japan is mostly due to the characters such as Athrun,, Kira and Lacus. Each of them won an anime grand prix as best male/female character.
Hell, Kira won twice and was 3time the runner up and Lacus won 4 times as the best Female Character and got 2nd place several times. Kira and Lacus are unbeatable in this category amongst Gundam characters.

What's so appealing in Kira CE73? I can't really understand....
