^ Well of course an accomplished female fighter would take out a man with zero training. Now try pitting that same female fighter against a similarly accomplished male fighter...

WARNING: There is actual information in this post to support my argument.

This is a reply to that guy arguing about equality and all that stuff.

You seem to think that physical strength is the only form of superiority. You put 1000 men against 1000 women and the chances are that about 95% of the men will win in a show of physical strength, that is simple science, men are built to be physically stronger than females.

Women's natural bodies and mindset are that of a nurturing mother, they are designed to birth and raise a child. Men's natural bodies and mindset are that of a hunter and fighter, they are designed to fight threats and bring back vital food for the family. This is the way we have evolved to survive over the ages. Both are needed to carry on our species.

Of course there are exceptions, women can still excel at physical sports and strength above the average of both genders, there is no denying that, but there is also no denying that typically males who excel at the same physical sport or strength will be at a higher level than that of his female equivalent.

If we use 100m sprinting for an example:
Florence Griffith-Joyner holds the world record for being the faster female 100m with a time of 10.49 seconds. She is an example of the female body at the peak of it's abilities. This score is also the cause of controversy due to a mistake with the anemometer measuring a tailwind lower than was actually present. It is expected that the tailwind was about +4.7 m/s.

Usain Bolt holds the male equivalent record at 9.58, just short of a second faster, with a tailwind of +0.9 m/s. Now if this doesn't seem like such a big deal then take into account that 89 male sprinters have broken the 10 second barrier.

That means at the very least 89 males have beaten the peak time of the female body. I can't even begin to count the actual number that have beaten that time.

Now tennis:

Fastest male serve 163.4 mph.
Fastest female serve 129 mph.
Number of males that have served over 140 mph is 38.

Now weightlifting:
Both of these scores are from the unlimited weight class.

Total weight of snatch and clean&jerk for male is 472 kg.
Same for female is 333 kg.

The female that broke this record was in the 75 kg+ weight division, a male in the lower 69 kg weight division managed 357 kg. So even with more weight (mainly muscle mass) the female score is lower than that of the lighter male.

Now those are three very physically demanding records, lets take a look at something that takes less physical strength to accomplish.

Archery:

Men's 216 arrow ranking round score - 2087
Women's 216 arrow ranking round - 2004

Men's 72 arrow ranking round score - 699
Women's 72 arrow ranking round score - 673

Men's 18 arrow match score - 173
Women's 18 arrow match score - 173

Men's 36 arrow elimination score - 340
Women's 36 arrow elimination score -341

As you can see the scores are far more equal, there are 6 records in archery, 1 is held by a female, 2 are equal between male and female and 3 are held by males. This is a far more level score and this is due to the physical strain being taken out of it.

Do you still deny that males are naturally superior in physical sports and strength than females?

This does not mean men as a sex are superior overall, as it has been said before in this thread both sexes have their own unique strengths and purposes by nature.

owned! thank god someone else gets that its not about belittling women, its just how it is. its not the same as saying men are better at jobs with high levels of responsibility, men are better at jobs dealing with complex math equations etc.. those would be sexist. also how about a little scenario, ur home country gets invaded ur building a defensive perimeter using 220 lb stones would u use a construction force consisting of all women just to be "non sexist"? guess what? ur dead
