ichigohollowXPosted 8/13/2012 1:30:16 PM | i also heard that the anime was coming to close to the manga. its either that or like you said ppl just hated it. and thus they pulled the plug. --- The one of overcomes the darkness. . The one who now sees things from a different perspective. the one who sees the world for what it really is. |
FortecrossPosted 8/13/2012 3:48:08 PM | Pierrot closed the anime not just because it was close to the manga, but because the ratings were awful at its 6pm slot. Naruto was getting 3.5-5.0s while canon Bleach was getting 1.0s-1.5s. --- The hammer gun from 4kids One piece is a weapon of mass destruction. |
shababbossPosted 8/13/2012 3:50:27 PM | what makes me so mad is that the current arc is by far the best one yet. It makes Naruto war looks like joke. It BETTER get animated. |
ichigohollowXPosted 8/13/2012 4:27:33 PM | sucks for the ppl in japan who spent 50 plus dollars on the dvds and now have an incomplete set. --- The one of overcomes the darkness. . The one who now sees things from a different perspective. the one who sees the world for what it really is. |
XxNathan13XxPosted 8/13/2012 4:54:31 PM | In my opinion, if it doesn't start back up before the dub finishes, then it probably never will. --- The best Anime I have ever watched -- and I do not watch a lot -- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Official Jiraiya of the NS:UNSG and NS:UNS3 board. |
BerserkFury8533Posted 8/13/2012 6:12:09 PM | Kubo had something great but took a **** on it, and people don't like to look at **** --- Thought you could take my name, my game, my story, my glory, my fame! --(Psn: LunaticHighZZZZZ)--- |
ichigohollowXPosted 8/13/2012 6:40:23 PM | Such a shame how bleach went from great to absolute crap. After the ss arc it started to slowly go down hill. I liked the hueco mundo fights though but after that it was terrible. Tbh bleach should have ended after ichigo defeating aizen. Lost powers, and goes back to living this human life. --- The one of overcomes the darkness. . The one who now sees things from a different perspective. the one who sees the world for what it really is. |
Cloud25Posted 8/13/2012 8:18:23 PM | Of course the anime will get picked up again. Kubo already declared this is the last arc (manga) and that Bleach is ending soon. It's understandable if they didn't want to pour any more resources into fillers, which have terrible viewer ratings, if they can just wait for the manga to end and then wrap everything up in one grand finale.
Although I will admit, the abrupt cutoff for the anime was strange, there is absolutely no way it won't get picked back up in the future. They've done it to Inuyasha, Hajime no Ippo, etc.
I'm not even a fan of Bleach but if you've been following the manga, the current, final arc is absolutely amazing. I actually hated Bleach because it was always nothing but hype. Kubo always built up characters and storylines but he never delivered the final blow when it counted. But the current arc is everything fans have ever hoped and dreamed for. I recently read it and I can say I'm now a fan of Bleach.
Cancelled or put on hold, either way the production studios are likely waiting for the final arc to finish before turning it into one grand "season" or possibly a series of OVA's. There's just way too much good material and fan base to let it go to waste. But we'll probably have to wait quite a long time for that to happen. |

Trust me, if a manga is popular enough it WILL be animated no matter how long it takes. (My bad, if BLEACH is popular enough...oh wait! It IS!!!!!) |
