HULK SMASH!

God, I can't believe we're one box set away from seeing that episode in dub form. They just had to end the last box set on the episode RIGHT before it.

Damn how far behind is the english anime? I've never watched it dubbed.

That's where it is. Episode 166. It's no longer being shown on TV, so the box sets are the only way to see new dubbed episodes until Disney decides to start showing it again (Which will be never). In the meantime, Toonami is showing Part 1 uncut, so there's that.

Naruto on Disney? Thats terrible.

I think the english version sounds like a 4kids dub.

So I'm guessing he'll either sound like Barney the Dinosaur, or Chucky from Rugrats.

Get the **** out. You always do this. We talk about a dub topic and you start strollin' in to troll the crap out of it.

Sorry if its my personal opinion. I didnt say it was a fact. If you cant deal with it just skip my posts.

I just personally think its a terrible dub, it sounds rushed, like they aernt close enough to the mic when they are reading their script, they mis pronounce things...call me nit picky but the English VAs are just garbage.

Dont get me wrong I'm all for watching shows in my native tounge, but that doesnt mean just because their is an English version I have to watch that. Its okay though, maybe one day some other company will dub it and it wont sound like a Fandub.

Team Four Star even sounds better than the English VAs on Naruto, & it also sounds less like a Fan Dub.

Dont get mad dude, I'm only Saiyan.

I kinda agree... that's pretty wrong of you to say that. Though I give 0 Fu**s about your opinion because not all people like the same stuff I do. But be respectful.

Vic Mignogna is also Nagato in the dub. I also can't remember how he did Serious Tobi in Impact, but hearing older Obito as Edward Elric seems weird to me. (That's the voice he uses for Young Obito at least)

EDIT: Just listened to his Serious Tobi. Sounds like a older Edward Elric, works for me.

Can you link me? I'm curious.

There WAS a video on Youtube of Tobi fighting Samurai in English which allowed you to hear his voice better, but I can't find it. I'll keep trying though.

Wtf at Danzo's voice?

Danzo's voice is William Knight, the voice of Aramaki from Ghost in the Shell. His voice is great, IMO, when Danzo is just speaking to Sasuke, as evidenced in Generations and even in UN Impact during the Five Kage Summit. It has a "grandfatherly" feel to it. With that said, his voice is horrible for the fight sequences. I switch the voices to JPN in Generations whenever I use him as a result.

maybe not so great as Yahiko Pain, but Troy Baker as Greed-Ling is the best thing ever.

Troy Baker's probably one of my favorite VAs that recently made himself known. Yamato, Pain, Greed-Ling, and Mitsunari Ishida (Sengoku Basara) are all so different in tone/vocal style and attitude, yet he makes them all work. Mitsunari, in particular, is frighteningly fantastic IMO.
