They didn't go downhill at all though.


With Naruto games they did, The gameplay became simple & mediocre & the only justification for it is Storms amazing graphics.

I enjoyed the gameplay in NH3 & Accel 2 a lot more than with Storm. & I see the Ultimate Ninja series graphics as timeless since they are aimed to look more like the manga than the anime, giving it a more comic feel.

I think when I play Storm 3s final build I will love it & play the **** out of it.

I've always been hoping that Storm 3 is going to be THE game & I would worship it harder than I do NH3 or Accel 2, or GNT4. I hope I'm right because I love everything I've seen so far in storm 3 except for pts and ring outs.

You play story mode 1-3 times and then you're done. All you are left with is...what...14ish new characters to play with from the previous game. Not including characters because "they are not needed" isn't a valid excuse for this type of game that is based off of a popular series. Should they have not made Chiyo since she only had one fight and doesn't seem all that popular?

Yes, people would go that far to defend cc2. literally. thats my point and thats why I used that word.

Yeah but people overreact massively. Everyone was praising the game and now because a few of the characters aren't that great (if it's even true we still don't have proof) suddenly everyone bashes them when they were just praising them. We don't all need to be bipolar every time something changes.

I'm less about defending CC2 and more about pointing out peoples fickle nonsense and blatant bias when they don't every little thing they want.

Most people here as Derpstick has shown have no standards so they lap up anything. I have seen him defending some pretty stupid things on a few boards I lurk so he might be a special occasion, but I digress.

Either way the Storm series has awful gameplay with the only worthwhile thing being the story mode so when CC2 cuts corners and goes back on their word I don't think people are being unreasonable when they bash them.

I already know CC2 sucks though which is why I just rent these games and let other people do the bashing.
