Were they on fire by any chance?

Either way the Storm series has awful gameplay with the only worthwhile thing being the story mode so when CC2 cuts corners and goes back on their word I don't think people are being unreasonable when they bash them.

I already know CC2 sucks though which is why I just rent these games and let other people do the bashing.

My only real gripe is Karin being in over Shizune/Anko/Kushina. The fact that those three at least showed one canon jutsu makes them more suitable.

Shizune breathed the poison and fired needles from a wrist launcher. Anko has shown a snake jutsu, and Kushina has shown the chains. Karin has allowed a few characters to bite her and somehow ended up playable.

It's really weird... to be honest.
There's 2 things I'm trying to make sense out of: 1 is the people who defend companies that say one thing & do another. People who're willing to defend shorter games & have no problem with DLC (knowing you have to pay extra for content that could have easily been on disk CAPCOM & SFxTEK comes to mind).

Then there's the OTHER spectrum of people (you can see them with the PS4 announcement) They overhyped themselves expecting so much info to be released & now they're complaining about SONY not showing enough & next gens not being some unworldly technology they can't comprehend so they're not happy either way (jaded is the term i like to use). These 2 type of gamers live in the same world, play the same games & often enough end up being the same people... yet still 2 complete polar opposites...

Mind you the gaming sites/forums/blogs/chats are full of them...
keeps me on a constant mind blown status for sure...

In case you hadn't figured it out, TC, the problem with saying 'literally' in this case is that you actually want the figurative meaning of "jumping through hoops" to make your point. "going through hoops" used figuratively is like "going to great lengths", it suggests doing something with difficulty/effort....

literally going through a hoop isn't necessarily difficult, and it has nothing to do with defending CC2

Y'know, if it makes any difference to say so....some folks (myself included) haven't purchased or played a Naruto game since Clash of Ninja 3, Rise of a Ninja, Storm 1 or other similarly outdated titles. From that kind of perspective, Storm 3 has plenty to offer....graphically and mechanically.

There are plenty who are able to politely disagree.....and they're the ones who are most convincing to me...just saying

pretty much this. tho i might end up buying it after skipping generations, I was pretty hyped til this.
