The essense of Main character no Jutsu... [Spoilers from recent manga]

#1RandyTheViperPosted 5/8/2013 11:44:37 PM
If you possess the power of a God; if you can use EMS, Rinnegan, and Mokuton; if you can drop - who knows how many - meteors from the Sky; if you can annihilate the heads of the Five major lands, while playing around, and just merely testing your powers.

None of THAT matter, guys...

What matters is Kishi having the decency to remind us of what Main character no Jutsu, is all about. As if we haven't had hints of Naruto's connection with this supposedly veiled and mysterious entity, known as "Rikudo Sennin/Sage of the Six Paths", from the moment he was introduced.

There is something called: "Being consistent with your writing" -- Kishimoto doesn't do such thing. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's truly sad that Neji died while not knowing that his Younger self (Who by the way, I believe, is one of the better characters in this series. And is ironically, far more mature than older Neji) was right all along, about people being imprisoned by their destiny. And that destiny is not something you can change.

What Naruto then proceeds to say, in order to counter those statements... Is nothing but BS. Because he was actually destined for greatness, and he is the"The Child of Prophecy"; "The Savior".

People have been hailing Neji's first destiny speech as the most intelligent statement made in this manga for ages.

I only wish he would have died against Kidomaru so that he could go out happy, thinking he was wrong.

Yeah, it was soul crushing hard work hardly works in this series and Neji was right all along.

Some people are simply born better, seriously this is on Legend of Korra levels of bad and unfortunate implications, on what it means to be special and how someone is suppose to act and respond to things.

I'm still waiting for Lee's hard work to pay off. Seriously, Naruto was all "I'm gonna work hard to prove myself" but never trained half as hard as bushy brows. Yet Naruto has achieved God-mode and Lee is left a weakling.

Been saying this since the beginning...
Kishi is an awful writer. He should stick to illustrating because he's quite good at that, but when it comes to writing...
He's constantly contradicting himself, doesn't develop characters, creates plot holes, and he's a sexist.

Hence why I stopped reading the manga and watching the anime. I just can't take it anymore.
I'll spoil myself on the boards to see how it ends but unless Sakura does something awesome, I'm never going to read that pile of trash again. I feel bad for the trees that died for this manga.
