Knowing Id be dropping it the second that XIV comes out...nope. Rather not waste the $. Have enough other games to bide my time. Although I miss my Kannagi and Almace. Ill be watching what Seekers of Aldouin adds though I bet my time is done in Vana 'diel sadly unless they drop the subscription cost drastically, just can't justify it.

I heard that FFXI is easier now, u can get to level 99 in like 3 days and can solo pretty much all previous content like dynamis and such.

I haven't played since mid 2007 so I've been wanting to go back. I do miss it and I'm tired of WOW and GW2.

That is sad to hear you can get max level that fast.

he means by being power leveled by a group of end game players

it is still impossible to solo in that game- at least efficiently and not waste a month of your time

If you could start as a BLU I'd seriously consider the game, but otherwise it's just too damn slow / rough core mechanics for me to want to enjoy otherwise.

I was playing on a private server earlier this year for a while. The admins made some nice gil tweaks, exp tweaks, and the AH was fully stocked at fixed prices, unless someone was selling something.

That being said, some jobs were broken, and the server had it's moments were it'd crash due to someone doing something stupid. Bullets weren't working for my master planned THF/RNG (which was still awesome anyways) and the level cap was 75.

But still all in all was really fun. It was sucking time away from my engineering classes so I forced myself to stop.
