You will never run out of Leve quests because allotments replenish over time or you can just do fates and dungeons.

Acquire something that someone else will pay money for, list it on the market.

when I was grinding fates I was getting around 50 gil per.

I understand that I could sell items to other players to get gil. My question really was is there a stand alone way to earn good amounts of gil. If the only way to earn a good amount of gil is to sell items to other plays then sooner or later the gill will run out. You will either be really rich or really poor. So yeah that was really what I was asking

Haha games end up with their own economies. You won't run out of resources or things to sell/buy.

Guildleves. Spent smart, and also don't teleport too much and you'll have A LOT more extra money. People overlook how much extra money they would have if they traveled naturally instead of abusing fast travel. So much quest money goes to waste via frequent teleporting.

You can vendor anything you pick up to create gil too.

Dungeon runs and guildhests also can be a good source of income, especially since (at least from my experience) repair costs aren't too terrible if you don't repair until you absolutely have to.
