So once I unlock the Chocobo Whistle on my main class, can I switch to a new class and use the whistle still?

After you use it, you can summon it using the menu then companions I believe.

Also, does anyone know the answer to my original question?

Sounds like whatever class you switch too, you must be lvl 20 or above. I could be wrong though.

You need to unlock your chocobo via Grand Company quests before you can use that Legacy chocobo, just a heads-up. Same with, as it looks like, any mount from 1.0. I can't use Gobbues on many of my people that have them because I didn't grind out Chocobos for them in 1.0.

Can anyone confirm if this true or not?
