My first time and day in Jeuno and the first 6 hours of it is spent staring at a chocobo's butt.

bard. I'm good at archery irl, and I like to do it.

I was a Warrior, White Mage, and Ranger in FFXI. In terms of functionality and survivability I think White Mage was the best of the 3. Whenever I needed a "Go To" Job for quests or anything solo, White Mage was usually my choice.

I like to think of myself as a Ranger though. A self-sufficient class that spends more time by themselves, and has a vast knowledge of enemies and terrain, and can survive on their own in the field for long stretches of time. Unfortunately, in practice, Ranger was anything but that in FFXI.

Math problems are the ultimate trick question. No matter how straight forward and simple they seem, the answer is never what you think it is.

This is my view on Ranger too, but in FF it's usually more of a forced Archer type. I've always like the D&D approach to the Ranger class.

I just prefer to do things on my own when I can, and only team up with people for the really difficult things that require groups to handle. Ultimately, that involves multiple high level classes to be successful, which is why I LOVE the fact you can level multiple classes on a single character with pretty much no restrictions.
