Help a newbie

It's been a long time since i played a football game and now i got this. So far, i have really liked it but it seems i'm really out of practice. I started a career with a coach but i am finding the games really hard. Every time i pass someone is there to either block the pass or intercept, and when i try to run, the defensives always appear in front of me and i end up gaining one yard.

Is there any way to making Offline Carreer easier? It seems the quick plays aren't this hard but when i go to my Career, i just can't get a good play in.

Use the slider. I found that you throw way too many pics. In the options you can go and adjust it to a more fair level. Every time I did play action I threw a pick so I lowed the CPU picks.
