How do you move your kids into the house you built?

You need a "Child's bed" and the child's storage container. It seems that if you build two child's beds, you must also have two child's containers even if you have one adopted kid.

Ahhhhh I didn't buy a container, makes sense now that I think about it lol thanks bro

Correction: your kids will live in your great hall if you build them "small beds." Also probably need the dresser.
