Hayter confirmed left out by Kojima

Now, I hate linking kotaku in general, but what the hell.

Kojima confirmed himself that Hayter is being left out. So either he's taking this ridiculously far, or he's not BSing this time.

I personally am avoiding this game entirely if Hayter is being left out. If it's revealed after release there's a good reason for it, or the rumors going around about Solid being an end boss are true, that may sway my mind.

But right now, this stands as a "wait until Wiki updates with the summary of the story and read that" thing. Excitement level and care is officially zero.

This is a franchise created by Kojima more than 20 years ago, and the MGS series has been producing excellent games so far.

I believe that Kojima knows what he is doing, as shown by the past 25 years. A voice actor is not what makes or breaks a game.

MGS is not Hayter, it is Kojima, and also Kojima Productions.

You're severely late to the party,we really didn't need another one of these.

It's really not that big of a deal.

I thought Hayter was a good VA for Snake, don't get me wrong, but A) we're not playing Solid Snake, or a younger Big Boss and B) even if we were, things change. 'tis the way of the world, sir.

Remember when people were up in arms over Heath Ledger being cast as the Joker instead of Nicholson? How'd that work out? ;)

Kojima never said Hayter wouldn't be voicing in Ground Zeroes though.

But I want snake to sound like snake when I'm playing as big bass or I'm not playing for real

Honestly, at this point, I would take most anything Kojima says with a grain of salt about anything involving this game or games without someone else confirming if they're true or not or bringing it up before him.

I'm seriously doubtful they're two different games.

It's so ridiculously pathetic that you would miss out on a potentially amazing game because of a goddamn VA, who has no reason to even be voicing the character.

Grow up, is this what gaming is now?

I kinda have a suspicion that Hayter might voice BB only in GZ (since it takes place immediately after PW), but a new VA will take over in TPP.
