Seems like it is almost ready for release
Yeah it seems that a March -June release is a pretty good guess....I'm guessing we get a release date after the hour is up.. --- PSN-bigboss19 XBL-bigboss19

It's the first time I'm praying the need for cash pushes something. Konami is so dry they will be blazing to get TPP out by Dec 2014. --- PSN Name: SSolidus (in the fridge right now) In Outer Heaven... Men Become Demons

I hope to hell they don't try and rush this game in any capacity - for once it may actually be the last Metal Gear by Kojima, I want them to take their time and nail it.
Though I'd still wee myself a little if it was announced for this year, I don't realistically see it happening.

Meh, just release the damn game, for all the talk about the FOX engine speeding things up, the game sure is taking its time, not to mention is not even a next gen game. Kojima/Konami would be smart to release MGSV this year, 2015 is the year of proper next gen games, and mgsv is gonna feel dated compared to things like Uncharted 4, Witcher 3, Arkham Knight etc, this year is pretty barren in terms of AAA games outside of mc donalds IPs like asscred and COD.
December 2014 date would be the best thing for Konami.
We'll know soon enough. If I was Kojima and I wanted to clarify the "coming 1984" ( if really means something which I doubt), I would do it on a stage or an interview the same as that one hour preview. It would be a smart and a hype blowing move to do that. Imagine this "The thing is, I wanted to release MGSV on the same release date of the 1984 movie which is Dec. 14th. So, I will release it on that day". That would really blow my mind.
