I stopped caring about this a month ago, and now I do, for some reason. And just at the nick of time too, because we are now finished with the main series! And the results are in! Surprising to absolutely no one, FFXIII and all that came after are the MOST HATED GAMES IN THE SERIES! Now the Guardian Force can promptly get over themselves and finally admit that these games have problems ya'll! Because we have evidence. And none of that paid "critical reception" crap.

Its time now to move on to the spin-offs. Lets see if these games have a chance to dethrone the Trashy Three, though they're gonna have to try really hard. My money's on Dirge.

FF Tactics: 2/10. I never played the original PSX version, and thank Jenova for that, because the translation in War of the Lions is spectacular. Intelligent, lyrical, and so much better than FFXII though dont they have the same writer? The story is poignant and gripping and Ramza and Delita are probably the most developed characters in the series. It loses a point because despite how good this game is, I really just didn't care for the genre. Still, best spin-off in the series by far.

I really, really don't like this game. Gameplay sucks, visuals are terrible even for its time, the soundtrack is dull and repetitive, most of the characters are very one-dimensional and theatrical. I only played up until Chapter 2 before this year-long-hiatus, though.

I have FF tactics in my wishlist on my Ipad app store. First i have to finish Eternal Legacy and 2 Square Enix games.

So dont know yet.
