KH may have bastardized a few characters but Toriyama made it his mission to ruin FF.

Then the fanbase also detracts from the experience so it really shot itself in the foot.

I hate Kingdom Hearts, but I don't think it's tarnished Final Fantasy.

Nah, SMT just opened up to people that better jRPGs exist. Atlus gets off on Square's tears.
