It's just a coincidence....also FF logos generally have a real meaning that you understand playing the game ( i always enjoyed this aspect).
People speak as if Skyrim's logo is the first one to have a rhombohedral form, come on people, get serious......as if the logo could influence the sales for a game, yeah right........ --- "Remember, you can make anything as idiot-proof as you want, they'll just build a better idiot...."
By "a lot of time", they didn't mean the actual designing time, not at all. They meant to say the time it took for the team and the company to agree on one single design, because they probably had tens of designs to choose from.
I'm a designer, this happened to me several times already. It could take 6 months of back and forth revisions or even a whole year for the company to agree on one simple logo. They are lots of stages to go through from designing to final approval, and when they said "a lot of time", they never meant it literally.
Furthermore, the actual design itself doesn't even resemble Skyrim. I would say, it's actually inspired by Transformers.
They simply did not want to be accused of misleading players about something misleading evidently. --- Learn about surviving here: http://www.toonzone.net/forums/blogs/bernkastel/uncategorized/ UPD: 11-25-12 [Current topic: MoogleHunter]
