ThriiPosted 12/6/2012 10:21:40 AM | Cid Raines had a pointlessly sad story, barely any screen-time, and an anticlimactic death. He's pretty much the XIII 1's Alyssa, beyond the fact that he at least got a boss fight.
He should've at least been in XIII-2's arena though. :(

In his short little screen time he was busy pretending to be your friend, then he comes out of nowhere with his "I'm a L'cie too!" business. The only thing I liked was that he put Lightning in her place in that scene. Shame, he could have been awesome in XIII-2's arena or a villain in Dissidia. He is my least favorite Cid next to Robin Williams, for giving me a lamp that held the devil in it. My fav will always be Dr. Cid from XII and Uncil Cid from IX. I almost died laughing when Steiner smacked him across the room, thinking he was some toad. Lol |

Raines wasn't a particularly memorable Cid, and I did feel his design was pretty unmemorable, but he was a good character.
Nothing on XIV Cid though :P
