Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

SPOILERS FOR XIII-2





Caius uses incarnate summoning to merge with his eidolith and become Chaos Bahamut,right?But in doing so it shortens his life span and in the long run will cause him to die.However, because he had the heart of Chaos( the manifestation of Etro that grants immortality) he never had to worry about it. But now he no longer has the heart of Chaos so if ever he were to use incarnate summoning it would shorten his lifespan,or would it?At the end of XIII-2 ,when Noel stabs Caius, Chaos is released upon Pulse causing Time (?) and the concept of Life and Death to cease existing.So basically everyone is immortal (unless they get killed) and nobody can age or die of old age(?).
My Question is: If Caius were to Transform into Chaos Bahamut in (LR:FFXIII) would his Life be shortened by using this dangerous art or would it be as if he's still got the Heart of Chaos since everyone is immortal (sort of)?

No.

How incarnate summoning works is that being grafted to your summon will actively drain your vitality very quickly.

Without Etro's Heart acting as life support Caius would likely die rather quickly.
