There is your problem. SE sci-fi game=/= SO. You might have well say The Last Remnant is an FF game because it used CG and was medeavil. Learn not to take your own speculation as fact then you won't be disappointed.
It's not unreasonable nor stupid for someone to think that this would be Star Ocean 5. Stop being a blind sheep, it's sickening.
That not what I'm saying. My point is that the announcement could have very well have been SO game, but easily could anything else. SE can make their own sci-fi games themselves or with anyone who their please. And stop insulting people who oppose reasonably. Fact of the matter is you were wrong and took what you wanted as fact without waiting to see it was correct when there was more evidence to suggest it was not. Whether you knew it or not is irrelevant.
Big deal, learn and let live, am I saying anything unreasonable here?
