I mean, was that ever confirmed to be the legit, cannon ending?
I never beat the game, though I enjoyed it. But I'm thinking of getting the Lightning DLC, which for me IS the ending. Serah and Noel's adventures just feel like a series of digressions to me (albeit enjoyable digressions).
And yeah, I'm a Serah fan (come on, that white mage outfit was just awesome). |

The way I see it, this new world is a sort of terminus for all paradoxes, so even dead folks can be around. It has a sort of Chronopolis (from Chrono Cross) vibe to me, which is actually quite depressing...
But now, I'm mostly wondering if we'll even get to the point where Serah will be "brought back", or if it will simply turn out that she wasn't really dead anyway, at least not in the "cannon Lightning timeline", or whatever that is right now (since Lightning herself isn't supposed to exist/be alive, anyway). |

I'm confused because I never buy games for the CGI. It makes me interested in the game (Which is why CGI trailers are so popular), but I never buy a game for the CGI. You said you bought Halo 4 for the CGI. |
