I started with 8 watching a neighbor play when my parents went to have coffee with them everyday

I started with Kingdom Hearts which led me to FFX. I loved FFX and it remains my favorite.

I think Final Fantasy got too blockbuster this generation. Nobody plays FF for a blockbuster game, but for occasional blockbuster scenes.

Your opinions are so very amusing...because they are so very wrong. Season 2 was exceptional, you just did not get it.

FFIII on SNES (FFVI). It's gotten progressively worse. Last great FF was X and that's not saying much.

FF9 for me. After that, I went back and played all the old ones. I spent over 200 hours on FFX, and I enjoyed FF12. However, 13 and 13-2 remind me of FF8. FF needs a return to it's roots or to release another Tactics.

XIII is better than X, but it is not better than the Ps1 games.

The series is on the decline, still makes for some decent games, but it has fallen steep from the apex of its golden age.

I started with FFI for the NES. I have played almost every Final Fantasy title and all in the core series. My favorites have been FFI, FFVI, and FFVII. I think that they have been looking for the next FFVII and seem to over compensate for the flaws of the previous game. I have enjoyed all of the games I have played. I have no complaints.

FF's 'golden age' was more about it being a big fish in a small pond at the time than being some super amazing experience.

Now they're not a big fish anymore.
