This was expected. They even teased it when they released IV for iOS.

FFV and VI are actually prequels to XIII.

Technically, they aren't prequels as they're not set in the same universe.

I was sarcastically mocking the whole notion that this is some kind of "tease" and we should be excited, when it's just more proof that SE is becoming worse (imo).
