"We want to expand on her character some so we can have everyone fall in love with her even more."

Nobody's fallen in love with her at all because she's a horrible, uninteresting character with a man face and stupid hair. If not for the huge boobs, nobody would even think it was a woman.

I will state this, Terra was not "THE" lead character she was "A" lead character. The developers wanted each hero to be equal. Terra was in fact though the first character you saw thus was more likely to identify with. Though the truth is the game focused on Celes just as much as her, if not more. And for Dissidia. They had to narrow it down to someone but that doesn't mean anything.
