Yeah, you did.
Otherwise you wouldn't have made the comparison.

Let me put it this way. Your reason for Terra being MC is because of posters etc Square released with Terra alone on it.

SE did the same with XIII but Lightning isn't MC.

Can you not see that is why some people think Celes is a MC of VI? No? It's okay, nevermind, I don't expect you to.

No, it's not at all.
Stop making assumptions.

If the cover, soundtrack, story or everything they've done afterwards to establish her as the MC won't convince them, I fear they are hopeless.

You guys need to realize that just because someone is more important plotwise that doesnt make them the protagonist. It's determined by the author who that is. Sophie may be the most important character in Tales of Graces F but Asbel is the main character. If Square says Lightning is the first solo female protagonist then there is no arguing against it.

Because Sqaure's words are so much more important than ours.

Uh, no. I'll decide for myself who's the first female protagonist thanks.

Lol. This isn't subjective. Square owns and made those stories. They decide who is the protagonist.

No, actually they don't. They make the story and we as their audience interpret it as we see fit. I viewed Terra as the first female protagonist and that's exactly how she appeared to me when I played VI, therefore to me she IS the first female protagonist and always will be regardless of what ridiculous notions Toriyama comes up with.

Not in the sense that they can simply say the protagonist is X, and it's true. They decide in the sense that they make the product, and the main protagonist is whoever is most important in that creation.

Alright Mystery Veil you've got me stumped. I'm gonna have to do research on a protagonist being subjective or objective.....
