But seriously, FF needs to be put on hold for several years while Square Enix focuses on other projects. A new Chrono game or an attempt at a new franchise with at least 2 games slated for it? It has potential. Also what happened with KH3? --- Currently playing: WoW Private server (Warsong 12x) - https://www.wow-one.com/ -- Xbox Live Gamertag: RevenanceSLC
One person's opinion - I love FF XIII and where SE is going.
Another person's opinion - I hate FF XIII and where SE is going
My opinion - I don't give a crap about either of the above; I liked XIII, I liked the older FFs, and I will play anything SE puts out.
The only one that matters to me? Mine. If you don't like XIII or SE or where they're going or have been, go play something you do like. There have been a million threads about liking or hating SE and the stuff they're doing these days. I like them and will continue to play their games. Go away.
Why people continue to play things they don't like is way beyond me. Sounds like you're bringing frustration upon yourself. Go spend your money on something you WANT to play. Leave us people who want this game in peace. *sigh* --- I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no man comes to the Father except by Me. -The Lord Jesus Christ. John 14 verse 6.
FF has fallen from the JRPG genre. Instead of turn based fights that need thought and strategy it's just using a fast pace action that encourages the player to use auto fight as fast as they can. It seems nowadays in order to attract new players games are trying more action and less thinking which repels the hard core players of that genre. Needless to say Lightning as a woman looks more like a man both characteristically and looks which again makes me wonder why they put her as a woman in first place. was it perhaps a try to make the game more appealing? I don't know, but I do know by continuing this trend they are bound to fail epically.
