Instead of a new ff I'd rather have anew persona game

I only played the other P2.

It's a dualogy, with EP having a different (more mature) cast than IS.

I didn't really like the combat.
It was just spamming Personas and investing points in the persona stat.

EP is harder.

That's at least what I felt. I think they nerfed the PSP version of IS, though so that's why probably.

Persona is a Role-Playing Story. It barely has gameplay other than the repetitive dungeon crawling.

Because FF is known for its game play right? Oh wait most FF games used classic RPG turn style combat. Just like Persona. SMH.

At least FF games except for XIII have a really large world with lots of places to go to, Persona doesn't have that, only a small school, and a really small town, some NPCs here and there, and random dungeons.

Given, but those things make sense given the stories of a game. Final Fantasy games are always meant to feel like like you are embarking on a huge adventure. Hence the big worlds. Because the group almost always ends up traveling as part of the story line.

Persona games are just done in a different way. The setting may be small but the end goal always ends up big. A group of high school students, in a modern setting, have no business running around all over the world. It would just make no sense at all.

Ah well.

You had no problem with Nocturne either lol.
But the battle system isn't really P2's strength.

Because Nocturne doesn't make you spam the same move over and over again.
And customization, that's very important.

Nocturne definitely has that.

I think you'd like DDS. It's more similar to FFX in customization and has an actual story unlike (most) of Nocturne.

I don't mind the way Nocturne handles the story. I like the survival of the fittest thing going on.

Figured as much, considering you like D. Souls.
