Is FFXIII the first game in the FF series where 50% hate it and 50% like it? I doubt its less than that and I dont think any FF game besides FF all the bravest is below 50%...

Yeah, I'd say that it created the biggest split.
XII also had a... mixed reception but the split wasn't as lasting.

Even though it's a brilliant game, FFXI split the community in a big way.
It's a shame that many are not able to experience it.

Same will happen with XIV too, I imagine.

I love this topic. FFXIII really caused a rift in the fanbase. Now you have Versus/Type-0 vs. FF XIII fans. And Versus isnt even out yet.

Yes, though its 8/7 votes in favor of yes now, I suspect towards the end of the day it'll be more no's then yes seeming as this is a FFXIII board.

Its not a great game in the as you would usually expect from SE. X-2 was negatively recieved but XIII-2 made up for it. Put Lightning on the cover and it will sell. Where's Lightning now? We only get to play as her as a monster and now shes the only playable character.

XI, XII maybe I geuss but I don't think they were as divisive as XIII.
