Hands up who wishes they just kept the Paradigm Shift battle system

Sounds like it's a copy paste of Ni No Kuni battle system.
Free running around while selecting attacks etc.
However NNK still managed to have party members, hmm...

I liked the paradigm system a lot, but I'd have to play the game before I decide whether I like it better than whatever they've got planned.

Obviously they mucked the whole thing up when they didn't bother expanding upon FFXII's battle system. Which remains the best game they ever made.
