Final Fantasy XII is a masterpiece in both game design and story.

I'm going to say Final Fantasy XIII-2, and I dislike the majority of Final Fantasy so that's probably not it.
As a runner up I'd put Tales of Graces f, and if it were localized yet, perhaps Tales of Xillia 2.

I know it says HD, but I don't care.

Xenoblade and The Last Story. Goddamn these games are amazing! Just beat The Last Story and recently started Xenoblade... man... both are so good.

I've gotta agree Xenoblade is over rated. It's not bad, but it's not exactly turn based JRPGs vindicated.
