And you think SE would want to take the spotlight off of LR and XIVARR? Not happening.

If the game releases next year or on a different platform then it wouldn't really be taking the spotlight away.

If the game releases next year or on a different platform then it wouldn't really be taking the spotlight away.


If they announce it and start a hype train NOW it WILL affect those two games. Hell it's probably because of XIII that Versus has vanished from the face of the earth to begin with, and after all this time it could easily simply be reskinned and called XV.

You say it as though Square never advertised multiple games before.

You say it as though Square never advertised multiple games before.


And you retort as if SE hasn't been basically ignoring Versus for the better part of a decade in favour of the currently dubbed "Lightning Saga". At most we will get a teaser, however frankly odds are far higher that they will instead show off LR to build more hype for it. And then there is the fact that at this point SE might have very well decided "f*** it, it's been too long, lets reskin Versus and make it XV instead".
