I mean Ashe, Fran and Lebreau all look like they get payed in one-dollar bills, Lightning and Vanille are as dumb as they come and Brahne looks like she crawled out of hell.

Yes, but the men don't come off all too well either.

Not with characters like this in existence.
What do you think it means when a girl leaves a fake mustache at your house?

The Lightning Saga especially gives women a poor image. All the other games have not been offensive.

Ashe and Fran are amongst my favorite FF girls because of their personalities and nice backstories so I excuse their rather revealing appearances, but there are girls I don't like in the series (Vanille, Rinoa, Rikku, Yuna etc.) Also the ditzy girl archetype is kind of annoying at times, but Zell and Snow help me prove that it isn't limited to the ladies of the series.

It gives innkeepers a poor image.

Heros: Hey, we're trying to save the world. Can we stay for free?

Innkeeper: **** no!

Lightning can't cook she's a bad influence for young women everywhere.

I don't think so. I mean Beatrix is one of the most badass characters in the series.

Yes and no.

In some ways yes, and in other ways no.

I suspect a lot of female gamers would say yes.
