Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

I wonder. XIII's was amazingly done but XIII-2's was horrid. The only person who I felt like did a decent job in XIII-2 was Noel's VA, Jason Marsden. Everyone else felt like they just wanted to say their lines and get the hell out of the studio booth. No passion at all. The poorly written dialogue didn't help either. At least in XIII it was stomachable because of the fantastically executed voice acting. Anyway, enough with my rambling. Vote, damnnit. Vote.

XIII had AMAZING acting, XIII-2 is iffy... but it's still above average, I have good expectations for LR.

Ehh...... Depends.

I'm sure it'll have the same group of usually talented people but still managing to not use them properly. XIII was probably the best when it came to the acting with a few pretty good performances; and a terrible voice direction and a horrendous script dragged down XIII-2 with Noel's actor being consistenly decent throughout he thing.


I like Liam O'Brien and Ali Hillis and Laura Bailey well enough and know that they're talented people with good voices... but this sub-series isn't using the talent well enough. They're treating them like a monkey throwing a nuke at an eggshell.
