The current objective at hand wasn't always life-threateningly important, but it always felt like there was someplace you had to be. The problem with open areas containing nothing was, for better or worse, not applicable whatsoever. You could play the game at your pace, but when the game wanted to speed things along it could stack multiple events at once. --- 1) Grip tight 2) Raise from perdition
I'd say Tactics and VI had the best pacing and I agree with your points.
This is probably the only reply that doesn't include flames that you'll get. --- Excited for: MHTri U, Fire Emblem Awakening, FFVSXIII (It will come out... eventually. Right?) Dissidia 012: Main:Terra Subs:Squall,WoL,Cloud and Kain.
Tactics was great, wish we had an actual sequel as opposed to Tactics Advance and TA2, but TA2 was pretty awesome, and had badass Vaan. --- Hoping for: Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, Dragon Quest VII 3DS localization. Dragon Quest>Ys>SMT>Tales>Final Fantasy, but I enjoy all five.
It's the caliber one would expect from Matsuno, so yeah. --- http://i.imgur.com/Pop1shL.jpg "Oh shut up. I played HDN and other RPGs and I don't care if they either good or bad, they're still good." -MewMewFan
