I'm actually getting a little excited for this game

I wasn't expecting much but the screenshots remind me a bit of 10 and maybe a little 12. Not sure how the final product will be but it seems as if Toriyama is finally making a decent RPG WITH towns. Not all we need is mini games like the "See how long it takes Lightning to get drunk and belligerent enough to be thrown out of a bar" mini game.

Hey, it's cool with me too. But other than that and soundtrack, I didn't enjoy the game very much.

I'm not talking about the battle system lacking substance. It was great. Everything else lacked substance.

Not me.

Some of it looks good but it will all be half-assed. And we all know stuff like the dialogue and story will be terrible.

X-2 battle system was quite good, but ability backlog and spell queues are unnecessary.

I'd place xi battle system and gameplay mechanics above x-2.
