But alas, this isn't ideal from a business standpoint. I totally get that point of view, but as a long time XIII hater I find this preferable. All bs aside, Lightning is probably the best designed female protagonist in a game ever as far as her model goes. Personality and outfit aside, anyway. Just because I met someone at the age of 25 doesn't mean I can't understand them since I wasn't there for the other 24 years of their life. There is an IMMEDIATE story taking place that when told properly doesn't REQUIRE previous knowledge to fully enjoy the scenario at hand. Even the first game in a series doesn't reveal every shred of detail that could possibly exist about the characters and settings, hence why prequels are a popular alternative to sequels. --- PSN: PandaKingEX |

You have to be a self absorbed fool if you think SE see the previous two titles as 'terrible'. The fact of the matter is that the series was a success and SE know it. Only a minority have your pov regarding this series. SE cater to the fans not the haters.
